    SEQUENCE THROUGH THE CLINIC

    We are scent-free environment. PLEASE REFRAIN FROM USING ANY SCENTED PRODUCTS WHEN VISITING THE CLINIC: PERFUMES, SHAMPOOS, AFTER SHAVES, DEODORANTS AND SOAPS. Please do not bring any pets into the clinic. Many of our patients suffer from severe environmental allergies and this is for their protection.

    Dr Jaconello’s New Patients Program appointments are listed below and scheduled approximately in two weeks intervals.

    INITIAL VISIT. Please, complete all forms that have been sent to you prior to your first visit. These preparations should be followed for the first visit:

    • No alcohol consumption for 24 hours
    • 2-4 glasses of water within 2 hours of visit
    • No exercise, caffeine or food for 4 hours prior to arrival

    This visit usually lasts three to four hours and during this time the following will occur:

    1) Weight, height and blood pressure readings are taken.

    2) Blood will be taken for various blood tests. Two tablespoons of pubic hair will be required for hair analysis test. If the amount is insufficient, hair from the head will be used. In this case hair should not be colored within last three weeks. Other test performed will include body composition (BIA) and cardiovision.

    3) Completing any forms that have not been finished and obtaining various consents.

    4) Full history intake and physical examination by Dr. Jaconello.

    5) Discussion of any health problems and an initial treatment program composed by   Dr. Jaconello. This program might include supplements and intravenous treatments. Additional tests may be prescribed at that time.

    6) If you have a previous history of inhalant allergies, a scratch test will be conducted to obtain new information.

    THE SECOND VISIT is with the Dr. Nasager, ND who reviews available test results and ensures that patients carry out Dr. Jaconello’s directions. This visit is 1 hour long. If any more time is desired another appointment is made.

    THE THIRD VISIT is with the Nutritionist. This visit is 1 hour long as well.

    A GROUP SESSION will be held with the Environmental Health Consultant who will counsel on the impact of the environment on your health and advise you on the necessary changes that will serve well on your road to health (approximately 2 hours long).

    THE FOURTH VISIT is again with Dr. Jaconello who further reviews the test results and places patients on the complete complementary treatment program. This visit is approximately 1 hour long and can be recorded on a tape or I-Phone.

    THE FIFTH VISIT is with Dr. Nasager, ND and is scheduled in three months after the initial visit. Patient progress is reviewed and necessary changes made. This visit is approximately 30 minutes long.

    FOLLOW-UP VISITS will be with Dr. Jaconello, approximately one-two per year. Parts of the follow-up visits are reimbursed by OHIP and parts are a complementary cost to the patient. Patients are welcome to book with Dr. Nasager, ND in between visit with Dr. Jaconello. Follow-up appointments are extremely important as they allow modification of your treatment program, if needed.
